Contact and stay enquiries

The forms ask for your name and email so we can reply. The accommodation option, group size and dates help us consider your stay. Required fields are marked; without them, we cannot process the enquiry. The message is optional: avoid sensitive information.

A stay enquiry prepares a possible booking and is processed as a pre-contractual step. General enquiries are processed on the basis of the owner’s legitimate interest in answering questions received. No newsletter subscription or advertising mailings are planned.

Enquiries are processed with Netlify Forms and sent to the owner. Data is accessible to the owner and the providers needed to reply, including Netlify and the email provider.

Cookies and audience measurement

Optional services are blocked before your consent. You can separately choose Google Analytics, calendars, the webcam, Google Maps, YouTube videos and Google reCAPTCHA. Your preference is stored only in your browser for six months, without a tracking identifier.

When enabled and allowed, Google Analytics measures pages viewed and certain predefined actions: checking availability, exploring the 3D tour or guide, using a contact method and confirming that a submitted enquiry was accepted. The website sends only normalised page paths, without parameters or fragments, and predefined event names. It does not send form fields, messages, contact details or free-form URLs. Advertising features and Google Signals are disabled in the integration.

Withdrawing consent blocks future measurement and removes Analytics cookies accessible to this site. It does not automatically erase data already sent; you can contact the owner about that data.

Calendars and external resources

ITEA / Gîtes de France calendars remain blocked until you specifically allow them. Loading them sends the provider technical information, including your IP address and browser, and may allow cookies. Only the selected calendar is loaded.

Fonts, photos and the 3D tour are served with this website. Links to tourism websites or maps only load those sites when you open them. Rejecting optional cookies leaves the pages, 3D tour and forms accessible.

Gîte webcam

The gîte webcam uses an RTSP.me player. It remains blocked until you specifically allow it. Loading it sends the provider technical information, including your IP address and browser, and may allow cookies. Withdrawing permission removes the player from the page and blocks further loading.

Retention and providers

Your cookie choice is stored for six calendar months, whether you accept or reject, without extension on a simple visit. Analytics cookies are configured for up to thirteen calendar months from their first placement, without automatic renewal. They are deleted earlier if you withdraw consent or when your choice expires, on your next visit to the site.

Enquiries and their email copies are kept for the time needed to process and follow them up. When an enquiry leads to a booking, the data needed for the contract and to meet legal obligations is kept for the applicable periods.

Processing outside the European Economic Area

Netlify and Google services are also established or operate in the United States. Enabling them may therefore involve data processing outside the European Economic Area. You can ask the data controller at gitedebelledonne@gmail.com for details about processing locations and the safeguards used for any transfers.

Google Maps: optional

The gîte map remains blocked until you specifically allow it. Displaying it sends Google technical information, including your IP address and browser, and may use cookies. Its permission is separate from other services. Withdrawing it unloads the map.

Google reCAPTCHA: spam protection

When enabled, Google reCAPTCHA spam protection loads only after your consent and when a valid form is submitted. Google may receive technical information and use cookies. The verification token is sent to Netlify with the enquiry for server-side validation. You can refuse this service and contact the owner by email. Withdrawing a Google service that has already loaded may reload the page to stop it.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions set by law, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to certain processing. You can withdraw consent at any time. Videos · YouTube

The gîte’s videos are hosted on YouTube. No YouTube player, remote preview or API loads before your specific consent. Once allowed, the player uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode; Google still receives technical information and may use cookies. Withdrawing consent removes the players from the page and blocks subsequent loads.

Your video choice is stored for six months, separately from other services. You can change it at any time using Manage cookies. The site cannot delete cookies already set on Google’s or YouTube’s domains.
